I was self-critiquing again, today. I’m not happy with my preparation for what I’m teaching each child, so I really need to devote a bit more time to studying the material that I’m presenting. I’ll be up late tonight working harder on that aspect. Time-need much more of it!
I made a flying trip to my salon to get my roots touched up. Got to keep my natural blonde going. While I was waiting for the magic to occur, I was reviewing the “Study is Hard Work” book. The author points out just how important good listening skills are. I really took note of his words, because I’m frequently telling my kids to stop talking and just listen when I’m presenting a subject. Then I give them ample opportunity to discuss the material. Good stuff to remember.
A mommy moment-after I returned from processing, we went on a bike ride before lax practice. I had one of those moments while I was watching all four of them pedal that I just wanted to freeze in my memory forever. What a great picture. I also was thinking to myself how wonderful it is that no one is in diapers nor are any of them sitting on the back of my bike-yah!
